Stable salinity is critical for a happy and healthy saltwater fish or reef tank. Freshwater tanks also benefit from an ATO because it's one less daily maintenance chore that has to be done. Update: I had an issue with my ATO and flipper support was amazing. They were quick to resolved my issue and I definitely recommend buying from them. I have a few scrapers and this ato and I am very happy.

This feels sturdy and is build really well! It holds a good amount of water and it is not an eye sore. I love flipper scrappers and gave this a try and it didn't disappoint! Great affordable ATO alternative.

Impossible to clean - works great

I have a love/hate relationship with this thing. It’s on a fluval 13.5 evo saltwater tank. I fill it every few days with a funnel and pitcher of RODI water. The inside is so nasty though, somehow the salt water bubbles up into it and grows algae. It’s really really hard to clean even with a good bottle brush. Still using it 6 months later but thinking about getting something different.
